When Joey Married Bobby…
February 7th, 2010 >> Theatre Ponders

So my theatre bosses have taken one of their show to Off-Broadway New York!
I'm really excited for them.
It's gotten so much press!
And a pretty good first review!
And of course I get to do the website so it's kinda cool.
Even though I'm not up there, I'm really proud of my bosses.
It takes a lot of gut to put your work out there…
Especially in New York.
Sometimes I watch people do things and give up and they never do it again.
But my bosses decide to try again and I think this will be a success.
I wish them all the best because if it weren't for them…
I would have not been able to get on the stage these couples of weeks.
And I have REALLY REALLY enjoyed it.
And everyone is so shocked that I have never acted before…
And have even advised me to go do some acting and some voiceovers…
And this is not only coming from audience members but some actors as well.
So my head has gotten a lil bigger : )
Last week this weekend!
Come see me!

L.A. Pho…
February 3rd, 2010 >> Food Ponders
Today I had lunch at L.A. Pho…
It's right near my work…
Less than a mile…
And I always pass by it…
But the reviews have been so so…
And you know Pho is Vietnamese food and this place is ran by Koreans…
But there's this really cute semi-chubby Korean guy there…
He reminds me of a little Cartoon Character…
And the place is really nice! (SUPRAMAN and I always call these places "Fancy Pho"…it's not like the hole-in-the-walls on Buford Hwy…)
Anyways…as usual…
I order a rice plate with chicken and pork (Not a super big fan of pho noodles)….
And a $3.50 mango bubble tea (tapioca was a lil hard)…

Pretty good. The veggies…unlike the usual w/vingegar…was made with some soy saucy gingery sauce.
And they give you some soup to go with it.
And the rice was not like vietnamese half rice…but rather long Korean rice.
All in all….I was pretty happy and hopefully can bring someone there one day.

Dumplings
February 2nd, 2010 >> Food Ponders
I've decided to start writing more about food again…
As you know…I am truly a fat girl inside…
And I love eating…
Eating good that is.
My favorite quick easy thing to cook is dumplings!
Of course they're not as great as fresh dumplings (and made by my dearest mom)…
But frozen ones will do when you have nothing else you want to eat.
Every other week when I go to Buford Highway Farmers Market…
I will always pick up two bags.
They're like $3 each. And come with at least 30-40 dumplings.
All you have to do it dump them into water and wait till the water boils and it's ready…
And I like to add some soy sauce and sesame oil…
Not bad and they're not too fattening.

Random updates…
February 2nd, 2010 >> Random Ponders
I think I'm a lil swamp…
I've got three website projects going on right now…one due this weekend…
And every night I've been coming home to work some more.
Seriously I'm not really complaining because I am really lucky to get these jobs…
But add that to all the theatre drama that is going on…
I've gotten sick!
And I HATE HATE being sick.
I am a horrible horrible person when sick!
Worse than PMS!
Anyways…office job is going better…I am getting more business…so that's good.
There's nothing worse than sitting at your desk with nothing to do.
And I'm really happy being a semi-actress now!
Someone said I should do voice work…
So we'll see.
And I am sitting at my dining table eating dumplings and just relaxing.

These moments…
January 27th, 2010 >> Random Ponders
Today I was doing something interesting…
And it led me to think…
What are some of the most awesomest moments in my life?…
To name just a few…
When I finally got my driver's license…(if you know the story then you know why)
When I was in the Olympics…
High School Graduation…
When SUPRAMAN got the SUPRA…
When our family FINALLY got our Greencard (another great story)…
When I went to the Madonna Concert w/ Miss Ross (especially since it was one big suprise from our bosses!)…
When I bought my own house…
When I drove stickshift on my own…
When I was in the show Peachtree Battle…
When SUPRAMAN proposed…
There's more…but it's all interesting…
Because you realize that you have stored these interesting moments in your life…
And yeah…you've done some interesting things…
I think a few are going to be coming soon…
So la de la.
